The growing numbers of Doctoral and research oriented Masters Programs in Design bring into being new generation of design researchers. The continuous development of Design Research will surely be driven by these research-focused students who will form their own research agendas and practices. The evolving community requires a research and discourse culture adequate to the specific epistemological conditions of design, i.e. it values plurality in points of view and in discourses. To this end, in 2007 we have established the DESIGN RESEARCH NETWORK (DRNetwork) to serve these needs.
